Digester

Digester configures gallery culture as a spectacle of decay and regeneration, serving as the gut of cultural dissemination. For this piece, I engineered three 55-gallon barrels to convert my gallerist’s effluent into biogas (methane) to fuel a campfire. At the opening, gallery-goers could toast marshmallows on the flames.
