Nature Watching/The Pink Wall acts as a prologue to the larger work, Recording Field Level 5. For this work, I added a wall to the gallery, creating scenography that suggests the living space of a person who has relinquished their agency to the misplaced utopian quest for a better life through contemporary design objects.
The wall’s slant funnels the viewer deeper into the exhibition, into a world where researchers desperately try to repair and understand a Nature strained by human presence.
