ONN/OF
ONN/OF “a light festival” was born from 2011’s isolation-inducing, La NiƱa-drenched winter weather. Instead of hiding away on what has been scientifically proven the worst, most depressing days of the year, I imagined using Seattle’s gloom as a point of engagement. I invited collaborators Sierra Stinson and Jim Demetre to help me create and curate a weekend of visual art, performance, installation, projection, music, food, drink, and workshops that use and conjure “light” as antidote to geographical and emotional darkness.
