Recording Field Level 5 was an immersive video installation exhibited at Platform Gallery, Seattle, Washington intended to act as a dystopic science fiction story about the merging of plant and flesh and the study and understanding of nature (all set to a “glitchtronica” sound track).
Each work or series in the exhibition (of which there are five: Nature Watching/The Pink Wall, Land, Earthbound, recodingfieldlevel5, and Mobile Works) acts as both an individual chapter in the story and a necessary part of the whole. Any one piece can be investigated separately or combined to create the sci-fi-is-now world of Field Level 5
